After you have:
- Finished your Site Analysis (and understand the site and its surroundings)
- Completed your restaurant precent studies
- Gathered data on kitchen and restaurant layouts
- Developed a idea of what type of restaurant you want
Create a new board describing your restaurant.
- What type of food? Examples – images…
- Hours?
- Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Dessert? coffee? Describe the typical day service
- How is the seating? variety? booths, bar, outdoor, chairs? benches?
- Table service or order and take to table or both?
- What are the areas of your restaurant? (This should have been done on Assignment 3 – but make sure they still work with your type of restaurant.
- List a few items that will be on your menu – pics….
- What is the name of your restaurant?
- Create a logo – colors – font – This logo/colors will be incorporated into your design decisions.
This board should have text, images, diagrams, and any other items that may give the viewer an idea about your vision about the restaurant.
For Thursday I want you to create 3 abstract study models of your logo. Use recycled material, a variety of materials, should not be flat!!! Rough dimensions 3″x 3″x 3″ – can be rectangular, curved, pointy, hollow, sheer, solid, perforated… abstract representation of your logo.
