I was waiting for the response of Patient & Purpose. I think I shouldn’t be only waiting for just one internship. So I tried to look for more internships on Indeed and Linkedin. I searched for different keywords, such as “Graphic Designer”, “Advertising Designer “, “Graphic Design Internship” and “Advertising Design Internship”. I clicked on “apply” for every result the pop up on my screen. I did not really pay attention to the job description. As long as the job titles match what I want or what I need, I would click “apply”. I believe that I can have my experience in every kind of internship.

The first week of my internship. During the winter vacation, I actually have been looking for an internship. However, I was lucky to have my professor referring me to his friend. My professor gave me his friend’s email and the company’s name. His friend is the creative director of an advertising company called Patient and Purpose. I sent him my resume and my portfolio link through email conversation. Then I did my research on the company. This company is doing advertising for healthcare agencies. My major is advertising design, so I think if I was getting an internship in this company, then I would have a good start in the advertising design field.
