Class Attendance:
It is very important for students to attend and participate in all virtual zoom class meetings. If a student misses a class, it is his/her responsibility to make arrangements with the professor to obtain assignments, handouts and any other material. It is very important for students to attend all classes.  If a student misses a class, it is his/her responsibility to make arrangements with the professor to obtain assignments, handouts and any other material.  Class participation portion of the grade is contingent upon the student being present for class zoom meetings and prepared with all tools and materials required to be productive during the lab period.  Students are responsible for getting any assignments missed due to absence/tardy.

Late Policy:
Any student who join our virtual class meeting after the attendance has been taken will be considered late.  After 30 minutes, you are considered absent.
Students should make every effort to join our zoom class meetings on time. It is disruptive to the instructor and other students when students arrive late. If there is a conflict with schedule or in cases of emergency, etc…where the student will be late; it is the student’s responsibility to contact the instructor before the scheduled class to avoid a late attendance penalty.

Academic Integrity:
Academic Dishonesty is prohibited in the City University of New York and is punishable by penalties, including failing grades, suspension & expulsion.  Any Student caught violating the Academic Integrity Policy in my class will receive a grade of “F” for the semester and will be directed to meet with the head of the department for further discussion.  To learn more about City Tech’s Academic Integrity policy, visit: http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/catalog/docs/catalog.pdf#page=56

Homework Assignments
Each week a student will be given drawing assignments throughout the semester.  There will be a combination of In-Class & Home Assignments and (1) One Final Project]. Please refer to the Calendar for when assignments are due and when they will be assigned.

All assignments and projects are due at the start of class on the due date specified for each item in the schedule. Any assignment handed in after the start of class on the assignment project due date will receive a 10 point reduction. Assignments are only accepted 1 week late, after which that particular assignment will receive a ZERO grade, unless other assignment/project submission arrangements are made between the professor and the student (due to extenuating circumstances).

Submitting Assignments via Dropbox:

Please join the shared dropbox folder sent to you at the beginning of the semester. To submit work for this class, you will upload your work directly to this folder. I can only see files that are saved within this shared folder.

I’ll return your graded work to the “GRADES AND GRADED WORK ONLY” subfolder. I’ll move your work to this subfolder once I have graded it. I will not look in the “GRADES AND GRADED WORK ONLY” for new work to be graded.

It is critical that you make sure your dropbox is setup properly and that you are saving to the correct folder, otherwise I will not receive your assignment submissions and will not be able to give you a grade.

Final Project: Take Home
Late Final Projects will not be accepted under any circumstances. The Final Project is due by the end of class of the last class session. An incomplete Final Project will automatically be downgraded a minimum of 25% based on completion.
