Assignment #2: Rhythmic Elevation Freestudy

For this assignment, I thought that it would be more successful than the first assignment. The mash up I thought was the most successful out of the whole assignment. The topographic map I thought was a bit confusing to me and was least successful. Even though it might look incomplete, I still had fun drawing.

Assignment #2: My Favorite Song

While listening to my favorite song, which happens to be “Maaster of Puppets”‘ by Metallica, I noticed how fast the tempo was. The bass, the rhythm and the drums were to fast that the lines I was drawing looked like a fast heart beat. But once the melody hit, the lines became waves. As the smooth melody turned into a wave of clarity. I imagined fast rigid lines and smooth waves being used while the song was playing
