Uploading to FTP

Steps to Connect to Dreamweaver FTP Server

1. STEP 1 – Create New Site
   Site > New Site or Manage Site
   
2. STEP 2 – Manage Sites
   Site > New or Edit
   (if one was already created)
   
3. STEP 3 – Site Setup
   Place Site Name and select Local Site Folder (the folder you will be working from)
   
4. STEP 4 – Create Server
   Select Servers > Select (+) icon at bottom left
   
5. STEP 5 – Add Server Info
   This window will appear
   
6. STEP 6 – Add Server Info
   Server Name – (examplesite.com) FTP Address – (examplesite.com)
   Username – the same username for site’s cpanel
   Password – the same password for site’s cpanel
   Root Directory – public_html (important)
   
7. STEP 7 – Test
   Success!
