all the job list that I had found base on the design related work, most of then require 2-5 years experience, and excellency on the portfolio, many of them do not need good writing skill but they need a creative person who can create impressive work for their consumers. also fluency on working with as much designer software will be more chance to be hire. Now most of the ad design campaign want to getting in web, so many of the company want their worker to have some web design knowledges.
The school professor often gave us advices on our career, such as gave us infomation on how would an interview for designer looks like, how straight forward people talk about your work, and how difficult to find a job in design field, it need tons of internship in order to get to point where you want your career to be at. meanwhile, city tech isn’t a popular school for design, however, the portfolio is the most important thing for my career, it all about what i learn and what i create in my school years.
