Hello and welcome. My name is Jonas Reitz, and I am a Professor in the Mathematics Department here at City Tech. I’ve been working here full-time since 2006. I live in Queens with my wife and two daughters, who are awesome.

I love math, and this class (Calculus II) is one of my absolute favorites! I love the way the straightforward collection of rules for derivatives give rise to a whole menagerie of bizarre rules for integrals. I’m also a big fan of infinity, and I think sequences and series (especially Taylor series) are one of the most underappreciated aspects of Calculus!
