Please complete your Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) for this class BY THIS FRIDAY 12/13/24.

This is pretty much the only way that the college knows what you, the students, think of the class. I do receive the anonymous feedback, and I use it to make adjustments when I teach the course again. Your feedback is anonymous and I won’t receive it until next semester. Let me know how you feel!

Directions for students to complete the Student Evaluation of Teaching in all of their courses:

  • Step 1: Go to Brightspace page or Brightspace Pulse app and log in with your CUNYfirst username and password.
  • Step 2: Click the SET widget on the Brightspace landing page. The widget will only be visible to students during the survey administration window
  • Step 3: Select ‘Synchronous’ or ‘Asynchronous’ courses to access the right version of the survey questions.
    • Synchronous courses: the class meets regularly, including In-Person, Online Synchronous, Hybrid Synchronous, and HyFlex courses.
    • Asynchronous courses: the class does not meet regularly, including Online Mix, Online Asynchronous, Hybrid Asynchronous, and HyField courses.
  • Step 4: Enter your 8-digit EMPLID to retrieve the registered courses, select a course from the dropdown menu and complete the survey. Note. Students will be returned to the landing page after completion, where they can choose another course. Your EMPL ID is found on your Student ID card.
