I found this article interesting. Although the general public knows that sugary drinks are linked to diabetes and obesity and continue to fail to cut it out of their daily consumption is astonishing. I especially liked how the author uses Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as an example to explain what kind of companies these are. I do not believe soda will ever be cut out of Americans daily life without more and more awareness.
Awareness and a viable alternative. Oh, yeah, the alternative exists, WATER or WINE! I believe so many problems will be addressed with even a decrease in the amount of sugary drinks consumed.
