    HW #4 will be due next Wednesday (Oct 16) and we will have our first midterm next Wednesday. The midterm will cover all the material we have discussed so far (Ch 2, 3, 4).

    As usual for the HW, you can do either the WebWork assignments or the textbook exercises:
