About Me : In under 30 Seconds

– Born in Eastern Europe 1988: Yeysk, Russia

– Lived in Russia, Latvia, Germany, Belarus before emigrating to the US in February of 1997

– Bilingual fluent in English and Russian with working knowledge of Spanish

– Initially wanted to be a photojournalist as have  deep interest in the human experience before deciding on nursing after the death of my grandfather in 2007

– Earned my Associates Degree in Nursing in May 2011 from the Beth Israel School of Nursing.

– Started my Bachelors Degree in Nursing in July 2012 at New York City College of Technology.

– Started working as an Emergency Department Nurse in January 2013.

– Member of the Emergency Nurses Association Brooklyn/SI Chapter # 028.

– BLS/ACLS/PALS certified.

– Future goals: CEN certification, Dual Masters in Acute Care / Nursing Education…… retirement 🙂
