My name is Yarisa Candelier. I am 26 years old and this is my second semester at City Tech. I have an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Borough of Manhattan Community College. I shifted my focus from Office Administration to Human Services so I decided to get my Bachelors Degree for that major. I love helping people and I stand real strong against people’s voices and their rights. The population I’m interested in working with would be abused children or domestic violence victims. I also have passion about helping people who were sexually abused.
I want to work with a lot of vulnerable populations that need to get protected or helped. I only care for the well-being of others. I want to expand my knowledge and skills in this field. I want to build strong networks in order for me to grow in my profession.
