This course presented a timeline and themes about how the West interacted with the rest of the world from the late 1800s until now. This included important events like nationalism growing in Europe, countries trying to get empires in the late 1800s, the First World War, the time between the two wars, the Second World War, the Cold War, what happened after the Cold War, and how globalization changed the world around us.
