The large amount of garbage in Brooklyn Cadman Plaza is a large draw for vermin. The Cadman Park has high traffic due to restaurants, shops, offices, courts, tourist and general use of the park by residents. This food resource is left in the park until is collected. We must first establish how much garbage density is amassed at a given time. Measuring density gives us an estimate on the potential food resources available for vermin. The calculation of individual cans usage will lead to a better planning and placement of garbage cans in the future.
