Myths About Google Jobs and Hiring
- Mountain View. All job positions are in Mountain View CA, FALSE. Google has many locations around the country. The New York site is a big one.
- Code Robot. All you will do while working at Google is coding, FALSE. Google has many types of roles and most of them require to work in very dynamic teams.
- Ivy League. To work at Google you must have a degree from an Ivy League college, FALSE. Google hires talented people regardless of the school they graduate from.
- 4.0 GPA Required. To work at Google you must have a 4.0 GPA, FALSE. Google hires talented people that show his/her skills during the interview process.
- Smartest People. Google hires only the smartest people, FALSE
