Video editing isn’t something that I’d consider foreign in my eyes. When I was younger I used to fiddle around with video maker programs and make all sorts of silly videos with them. While it was fun, I noticed that there’s an abundance of tools I could use to improve my editing skills. However, since I was never deeply interested in video making, I didn’t take the time to go further. While I was editing the video for this assignment, I made a few mistakes with the splitting and rendering (such as having to split the video into two parts as a result of using a trial program), but everything went well in the end. It felt like a refresher for me since it’s been many years since I did any type of editing for videos. The end product may not be on par with professional editing, but I do believe that I fulfilled the bare minimum. It was a nice experience.
