Interview- 2/18/16

I have been sending resumes everywhere and I hadn’t heard from anywhere until a couple of days ago, I got an email from this start up company. They wanted to set up an interview for the next day. I was excited because I had finally heard from somewhere. I went to the interview but I was nervous at the beginning. I didn’t know what to wear, or what to take. I asked my friends who had been to these kind of interviews to give me advice. some said to go business casual, and others just jeans and shirt. I decided to wear slacks, a blouse & heels. I didn’t want to be overdressed but I didn’t want to be underdressed. When I get to the place, there is an empty lobby so I took advantage to change from my sneakers to my heels. I got to the elevator to go to the 6th floor and when I get there, I look and I see people in jeans and t-shirts. I decide to go back into the elevator (luckily nobody saw me), & I pretended to forget something. I was hiding to change into my black flats that I luckily had in my bag. At last I went back to the 6th floor, nobody had seen me yet. I spoke to 3 guys at the interview, but it wasn’t as I expected it to be. The interview took 10 mins max. They told me they were going to let me know about their decision. They wanted interns who had already had previous internship experience & I haven’t so I doubted they were going to get back at me. But Im still applying.
