Your final response paper has three distinct parts:
1). Create a one-page proposal addressing which contemporary NYC issue you want to research and why. Create a bit of context for the issue, including key elements and players, why it’s important to understand this issue, and some of the popular opinions or perceptions about the issue. Using the “Inquiry Question Worksheet,” which will help you focus the angle of your topic, include a working thesis. What specific issue are you addressing and what claim are you making?
2). Make time to visit the library on your own and get assistance from a librarian. Fill out this worksheet, get it signed by the librarian, and staple it to your proposal: RP #5 Library Assignment
3). Finish the 18 questions on the “Inquiry Question Worksheet” worksheet from last class.
Three pages, typed & handwritten, and stapled. Due Saturday, November 10th.
