Serious Change Through Play is an interdisciplinary initiative that encourages growth and learning through play across many domains. Established at the New York City College of Technology, CUNY (City Tech) by Professors Patrick Corbett and Jason W. Ellis, it connects making and communication for the benefit of transitioning college students to future professionals. Embracing maker culture and practices, Serious Change Through Play leverages problem solving and creative expression as a path towards improved critical thinking, mindful awareness, and audience-focused communication.
