My pronouns are She/Her and my major is Human Services, I became interested in this major because I want to be able to continue helping people on a deeper level. For example I work in Retail and of course I help any customers who need my help with anything whether its to tell them a price of an item or to give them my opinion on a product or even a piece of clothing they can’t decide on. I’ve been working in retail for a year and a some months, and it has gave me some perspective on life and what I see myself doing for the rest of my life. When I think about that question- it always leads me back to wanting to help people! Which is why I know Human Services is the perfect major for me, I get to do what I love but on a deeper level by making a difference in different communities. After taking this math course which I will strive to succeed in, I will not be required to take any other math course because it is not required for my major. What I hope to do after I graduate City Tech is first of all graduate with a high GPA and then in between college and graduating is getting an internship with a program related to my major that way I gain experience and knowledge for when I am applying to jobs to officially start my career as a Case Manager. I do have some hobbies I do when I am not helping others at work or in my everyday life. I am a homebody so I like to clean my house while I let my favorite comfort shows play in the background, this gives me peace and it’s honestly therapeutic. I believe having a clean space will help you have a clear mind.. and besides who wouldn’t want to have a clean home. I like to also go to the gym and reward myself by treating myself to a protein meal and going shopping to some of my favorite stores. If I could say I am good at one thing it would definitely have to be being that person that everyone has in their life that they count on. Then one thing I could say I am bad at is not, not being hard on myself when I am disappointed at myself. An interesting fact about myself is that I have OCD. A boring fact about myself is I am an introvert. My favorite book is comics. My favorite animal is a sloth.
