I will never forget when Dr. Archer, the Department chair at NYCCT, came into one of my classes and asked to see me afterward. I’m sure you can imagine the panic I felt! To my surprise, she told me that my poster presentation caught the attention of Dr. Howard Kirschner of Steinway Dental Study Group and he reached out to her in hopes of getting in touch with me. When I reached out, I was shocked to hear that he wanted me to present my poster at the monthly meeting for the Steinway Group. It is a wonderful opportunity, and hopefully when it’s safe I will be able to do so.
Furthermore, this is a continuation of the assignment involving the article critique. After finding the respective articles and information regarding our topics, we created a poster board and presented it at the Wellness Fair at NYCCT where they were judged by faculty. Things taken into consideration are :

The groups that were chosen then proceed to present their posters at GNYDM alongside Dental Hygienists and Dentists!
