The grading system for this class is as follows:

Class Participation: 15%

Midterm*: 15%

Course Work and Assignments: 35%

Final Exam: 35%

Attendance is Mandatory.

Class Participation includes: talking in class, reading aloud in class, writing in class, and completing the homework such that you are READY to share your answers at the beginning of class.

Journals and Notebooks and Written Work will be assessed with a star system of 1-4. We will have two checks of your written work during the summer to see your level of participation and engagement with the assignments.
