Jay Street Metro Tech, Brooklyn

I took this picture this morning as I got off the train and went to get a cup of coffee. This part near City Tech reminds me of the city as during the afternoon, it gets very crowded. Often, I’ll see many different people, from students to business workers to casual people. Buildings surround this place and there are places to eat if you go further down. While it reminds me of Manhattan as it can get crowded and busy, it also reminds me of where I come from, in Serbia. In Belgrade, the capital city of Belgrade, there is a location similar to this one. It’s surrounded by trees, buildings and cafe, food places to eat. Being that it is in the city, it gets crowded with workers and other people. However, although it does get crowded in this area and reminds me of being in the city, it is also calm and relaxing at the same time. Everyone minds their business and does what they have to do.
