In 2008 shortly after the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Wii, people found out that it was possible to hack the the game and modify it to your liking. You could modify characters, levels, sounds, music and a whole lot more. You could virtually change the ENTIRE game itself if you knew how to edit everything correctly.
In 2011 I started making my own stages for the game…here are some of my Wii modding examples. Please enjoy!
This is a recreation of a Super Mario Advance level from the Game-boy Advance version of the original game. I made this stage using a program called Brawl Box and it took me a total of 5 hours to finish completely. This stage replaces a normal stage in SSB. Brawl called Mushroomy Kingdom. When the Mushroomy Kingdom stage is selected the Wii loads the Super Mario Advance stage that I created instead of the original stage.

This is a recreation of a Sonic Advance 3 level from the the Game-boy Advance version of the original game. It took me a total of 8 hours to finish completely. This stage replaces a normal stage in SSB. Brawl called Hannenbow. When the Hannenbow stage is selected the Wii loads the Sonic Advance 3 stage that I created instead of the original stage.

This is a video showcase containing 4 separate stages I made that are based off of areas in the games Pokémon Heartgold and Soul Silver. It took me a total of 20 hours to finish all 4 stages. I created additional files so that these 4 stages are able to replace various stages in SSB. Brawl as opposed to being constricted to replacing one specific stage.
