How can I get the Safer application?
Wherever you go, whenever you go
If you’re walking through a neighborhood at night and feel unsafe, there’s a feature on the app that allows you to keep the app open without it idling. Depending on the route and neighborhood you’re traveling through, a mood face will appear on your screen based on the crime(s) or suspicious activity reported in that area.
Safer also has another built-in feature on the app that will allow a user to tap the red emergency button three times if they feel unsafe and it will instantly alert the police and emergency services and ping that specific location to the local authorities.
Safer will include a built-in ticket system that will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where you can report any issues with the app or with other Safer users.
