Visual Quotation Concepts

Why did I chose this quote? I chose it for numerous reasons. This particular quote is one of Napoleon Bonparte’s well-known quotes. Personally, it relates to me in many unique ways. When people visit art museums, they see magnificent and old paintings from deceased artists. They only see it visually, however I don’t. Every artwork has something that grabs the public’s attention. It expresses much more than how it visually looks. In reality, it tells people its story, a history, or a significant meaning behind its brush strokes, or rather the artist his/herself. I, myself am an artist. I paint whilst express a story behind the techniques I use for all my paintings. I absolutely admire this quote of Napoleon Bonparte. It is a huge part of who I am as both an artist and a designer.
