I started my nursing career as a LPN a certificate nursing course obtain from Medgar Evers College in 2003. right after school I was employed at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center at their rehabilitation center. ( DMRI Nursing Home). In 2010, I graduated from City Tech Associate Degree Nursing program as a RN I transfer to the Vent Unit and work for 5 years, now currently working on the Med Surg / Telemetry unit night shift. Presently completing my BS program.
The BS nursing program has geared and mold my leadership skills, critical thinking skills , cultural competency care, Case Management , exposure to Community health nursing dealing with diverse population in community health and addressing issues in nursing practice. The BS program has placed me on the path to pursue specialized areas of nursing and gives me confidence as a professional Registered Nurse.
