Cyber-attacks are a global threat that the world needs to deal with collectively. In addition to having sophisticated anti-viruses to prevent these attacks and having qualified well-equipped people to deal with it firsthand, there needs to be a joined force against it. Governments/entities/people all have to join forces to develop liaisons that can help with the process of identifying criminals and curving the threat. Also, entities need to set up account monitoring mechanisms that will detect as early as possible threats and contain them to avoid any spillover to the other sectors within the same environment. The development of communication channels would ease the process of information sharing. Moreover, there should be trust amongst actors involved which in return would lead to the declassification of information for the sake of the fight. The classification of information delays the response process of fighting cyber-attacks.
