This post card design started as a sketch of the smile and revolving text. Playing with red using a sharpie, I embedded a contrast to the lips. Using the red on the lips, I wanted that being the only color on the postcard representing both love and woman. I scanned my drawing and rasterized it on Adobe Illustrator. Finally, I played with scale making the smile larger than it originally was. After revising the post card, I added hues of red to the text to enforce color.

On a date with my girlfriend, I captured a picture of us eating pizza at a restaurant. Then, I took the image into Adobe Photoshop and created a clipping mask of the pizza. After that, I changed the image around the pizza to black and white making the image of the pizza stick out. Using the clone stamp tool, I created a stylized smiling pizza to go along with the quote.

I started by first writing the quote on paper and playing with my own handwriting. After being pleased with what my handwriting looked like, I scanned and took my image into Adobe Illustrator. Then using the pen tool, I created the shape of two lips and incorporated a bright red to the shape making it stick out on the postcard.
