Dear to whom it may concern,

You may not know who I am, my name is Paola Ramirez. I’m writing this letter to talk about one of many things here on earth which are animals, because of this world many animals today are close to extinction or endangered. It isn’t fair that most of the animals that we have grown to love and admired are about to be gone. Not just to climate change but us as well. Some hunters hunt the very animals that we know well. They are close to extinction, it isn’t just for the pelt or their animal trophies, but also for the money. They can sell the parts of the animals that are illegal trades, they will try to sell off the newborns as pets, but because people don’t know what to do with a wild animal they often die because they don’t know what it takes to take care of a wild animal. It isn’t just the people who are making these animals endangered but also climate change, which is one of the things that we are facing today. Our planet is warming faster than at any other time and with these changes, many animals have adapted to these new patterns but because of global warming, it resulted from humans releasing greenhouse gas. That leads to consequences for animals including habitat loss. There are even some habitats that surpass migrational capabilities that leave it to competitive relationships amongst animals. We need to help these animals, even people today are doing what they can, they build shelters, taking donations from people who want to help, but I still believe that there’s more we can do for them, but it’s just people don’t seem to understand and want to take the risk in breaking the rules as they continue to hunt and so on. I know that there’s more that we can do, we just haven’t found the right way yet. So far the best thing to do is to keep making wildlife preserves that respect the animals living, which is great since it can also provide special opportunities for study and research. We wouldn’t just be helping out animals, but nature as well and people who are caught in wildlife to hunt or sell some animals should be arrested or fined at least. Hunters should know that once they hunt an animal they separated them from their homes and family, as they continue they will soon decrease the population of these animals, and yet even if they are gone what makes them so sure that they will stop. Soon they will try to find something else to hunt instead. There are times when wildlife shows that they want help. Then there are times when they just give up and lay there, as they know their fate, but there are some people who can’t stand for an animal wanting to give up. These sanctuaries are the best thing for an animal to live on they won’t get hurt and stay on a part where hunters cannot pass. I know some people want to change people’s perspective but that’s even a line where we can’t even cross it’s up to them to change. Yet we can come through when it counts by donating to these shelters and sanctuaries so that these animals won’t be at risk as well.

Sincerely,
Paola Ramirez
