When people think of cars, many things come to mind; Chic interiors, new leather-car freshener aroma’s, spinning or just all together new rims, speed, and shiny gloss coated hoods. All of these things are what intrigue and captivate even people who, like myself, will only sit in the passenger seat, often distracting people from acknowledging that though they are beautiful, cars can be dangerous and life sentencing.

In addition to the glorification associated with luxury, sport, and family vehicles are horrid, life crippling and/or ending images that come after reckless driving, failure to put on a seat belt, drunk driving, and even cell phone usage on the road.

What people fail to remember in addition to these glamorous parts of owning or renting are car are the less fun, less enchanting illustrations and horrible consequences of ignoring car safety laws. All over the world, organizations, and ad agencies are making attempts to remind people of exactly the consequences they face if they do not adhere to drivers safety laws. Although we would like to be glorious and care free in our 2014 model cars, we must ensure that we are putting safety first.
