My employment, since I became a nurse have been very productive, I work at Brookdale hospital on the repertory unit I enjoy what I do even though the work in hard and challenging because you have to suction these patients periodically as most of them have a trach.The unit operates on three eight hours shift even though, I would rather it was twelve hours. Some patients family are very appreciative and are willing to help when they visit with whatever help they can furnish. I started working in Brookdale, as a CNA then upgrade myself to a LPN, follow by an RN.In, addition comes January if all being well I will earn my BSN then continue on for my masters .The hospital had several treats to close, but so far it still remains in operation, and I hope and pray that the doors will be kept open as it service a very undeserved community. I do enjoy working in this facility for the past sixteen years and hope to retire there.
