Prior to doing the Disney internship I had no experience in the hotel aspect of my major, I have experience in customer service so being able to have hands on experience in a resort was very exciting for me. As a housekeeper I’ve learned that it is a hard role but if you have a positive mind and attitude you can get through it. Recently I spoke to one of my supervisor and told him that I was majoring in Hospitality Management, he saidĀ that he willĀ talk to the front office and custodial managers so I can cross train and learn more about the different areas of the resort. IĀ am really looking forward to what the future holds and I am eager to gain all the knowledge and experience I canĀ so that I can become a great manager.
Mission Statement
It is my mission and my thorough commitment to become a Hotel general manager of substantial and of great value. My short term goal is to complete my Disney college program with as much experience and knowledge possible, and also to graduate with my bachelors in Hospitality Management. My Long term goal is to become a Hotel General manager and open a restaurant. I am determined to conquer all obstacles that come my way to make both my short term and long term goals a reality.
