Case Study #2:

12 year old Hispanic male in good health. Blood pressure was normal and EO/IO within normal limits. Tooth #4 and #13 erupted on the palate side. They’re treatment planned by the orthodontist to be extracted.

Case Study #3:

28 year old African American male in good health. Patient is a non smoker. The patient had normal blood pressure and EO/IO was within normal limits. The patient presented with a fissured/geographic tongue. I spoke to the patient about good oral hygiene and to make sure he  brushes the top surface of his tongue with the toothbrush or gauze.  Cleansing of the tongue helps remove any food or bacteria that gets trapped in the grooves.

This is a picture of my palate in which was discovered in Pre clinic by Professor Kupches. My Palate has numerous red lesions on it and thought to be some kind of candidiasis. It was treated as a yeast infection, but when it didn’t go away I went to an oral surgeon.  The oral surgeon did a biopsy on my palate and the results came back as benign salivary gland lesions.
