For ours first trip based on structural walk we went to Brooklyn bridge. in this structural walk we can saw a lot building based and built with some structural components. Some of the components that we saw was rigid frame, trusses and , shear wall. As we know, trusses is a framework with a triangle form that can give some reactions such as compression and tension. I really enjoyed this trip for the reasons that we saw a lot thick walls in some old building that can give us the perspective that are a good wall for resisted load. also we saw some vaults that are some archers in the ceiling.
