DEN 1100: Principles of DH Care I: Electronic Cigarettes
- This research paper on electronic cigarettes has enhanced my clinical understanding of the negative correlation that smoking has on the oral cavity.
DEN: Oral Anatomy: Dollars and Dentists Research Paper
- This research paper on unethical practices in the dental workplace, has enhanced my clinical understanding of the disparities that take place surrounding underprivileged individuals, as well as the abuse of power that can occur in a workplace environment.
DEN 1200: Principles of DH Care II: Congenital Dental Anomalies in Children with Cleft Lip:Palate
- This research paper on congenital dental anomalies among children with cleft lips/palates, has enhanced my clinical understanding of anatomical differences that present with this condition, as well as a better understanding of proper patient care procedures.
DEN 2311: Oral Pathology: Sjogren’s Syndrome
- This research paper on Sjogren’s Syndrome has enhanced my clinical understanding of this condition, as well as potential other risks that come from this such as developing caries, inflammation, cheilitis, oral candidiasis, and ulcers.
DEN 2413: Public Health Keeping it Healthy
- This research paper reflects my experiences in participating in a community service project, which educated children on the importance of maintaining oral health, as well as negative consequences of neglecting oral health. This has enhanced my clinical understanding of how children interpret information, as well as ways to keep them engaged and active participants in their health.
