Consistent practice of infection control procedures will provide safety for both patients and the health care professionals. Evaluating my patients medical histories, have allowed me to become more familiar with conditions and medications, in order to implement treatment plans free from contraindications. Thorough EO/IO examinations have enhanced my ability to detect abnormalities and early intervention of oral cancers. While performing SRP’s, and administering local anesthetics, my clinical abilities have been enhanced by being able to provide pain management for my patients, thus creating better patient rapport.
