This course explores visual merchandising, focusing on product presentation in retail environments. It investigates both theoretical and practical aspects, including in-store environments, lighting, special effects, fixtures, and product placement as forms of visual communication to convey brand messages and influence consumers. Topics include creating specialty and department store displays, designing visuals for walls and windows, professional presentation techniques, and the effects of color, and lighting on consumer behavior. Additionally, the course continues the development of students’ Retail Marketing e-Portfolios in Open Lab.
