Subway

This ad got my attention because of the big “hungry” and then the “new yorkers” got my attention also I am always hungry, so this was a clever design.

Fighting hate with humor, I like this ad because since I am a muslim, I know how it is to be labeled as a terrorists just because of my religion, so this stood out to me and made me laugh.

Every single ad here get’s it point across where the important things are the ones that pop up first.

I like this portfolio because of how the arts remind me of my childhood, I am a big fan of cartoon and this is some amazing work which just got to me.

Cuny Perks!

After doing some research, I found out that Cuny has a lot of parks, also if you are a student in general, there’s alot of parks because of it.

For example:

  • You have to pay 4.99 a month for Spotify or Apple Music, where if you weren’t a student, you end up paying 9.99 a month.
  • You get FREE 6 month of Amazon Prime.
  • Phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile can get you discounts on your monthly phone bill.
  • Most colleges offer the perk of having a free gym on campus, but if you prefer to use an outside gym, there’s good news. There are many gyms that offer discounted memberships for students.
  • Just like retail stores, there are many restaurants that offer discounts for college students.

Putting Art on Wheels and Taking It Back to the Streets

I found the article very interesting, it’s a very unique way to bring art to the people, it’s actually very unexpected. This movement help artists bring art to the people in the method of transportation of goods, they using tracks which would travel around the country, which mean it could be seen by thousands of people. The artists are able to paint which could generate a very different experience depending on from where the viewer are watching it. Jaime Colsa who is the one that started the movement is trying to bring Street art where it started, it’s root, like it was before on the the trains and trucks.
