Introduction to Interactive Media Technologies Production Practices

A hands-on introduction to the applied principles and production techniques used in interactive media development. Students will be introduced to the basic theory, practices, and technology necessary for success in digital media courses, including imaging, sound, video, and animation, as well as, interactive, networked, and physical computing technologies. The structure of this course emphasizes an integrated and creative approach to interactive media with detailed instruction and practice in the technical aspects of production that go hand in hand with critical academic thinking.

Computer Information Association

The Computer is a student organization that provides a creative and safe learning environment where college students majoring in computer related courses and/or interested in computers and technology, work together with other students to explore their own ideas, develop skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology. The computer club plan and organize projects and activities with the purpose of enhance technical skills and knowledge outside the classrooms and develop team work skills and interpersonal communications among the club members. Members will learn to appreciate and enjoy a variety of software applications and technologies including such technologies as web design, programming, networks, video games design, phone application design and multimedia presentations. City Tech Times

City Tech Times is the official name of the student managed and operated college newspaper of New York City College of Technology (CUNY). Our primary objective is to report news in a specialized format to our diverse student population.
