Bio

Hello and Welcome to my Openlab profile. My name is Thalia and I am from Brooklyn, New York. I’m Afro-Latina (Puerto rican and Black). I am currently a student at City Tech, a student majoring in Communication Design (Graphic Design). I love to draw and listen to music, it helps me focus more on the creative side of me. Though, I have a more serious facade but when by myself, I am mellow and really chill.
I chose my major because I enjoy the graphics and art of Marvel, Dc, and Studio Ghibli. They are by far my favorite role models when it comes to design since they always leave people on edge or get kids inspired or happy or even create fan art. I want to be as big and impactful as those companies and many more of course! Collaboration is key when making such a company. But, I also want to make comics and illustrations and movies that have much diversity involved or shine light of reality of some kids into the movie production. That is why I am taking this major now. To make a impact.
