The City Tech STEM-H TC2 Hub’s mis­sion is to pro­vide train­ing and recog­ni­tion of pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment achieve­ments rel­e­vant to in-de­mand skills from STEM and Health fields, by of­fer­ing and pro­mot­ing Cer­ti­fi­ca­tions and Dig­i­tal Badges. TC2 stands for Tech­ni­cal Cer­ti­fi­ca­tions and Train­ing Cen­ter. The STEM TC2 HUB pro­vides flex­i­ble ac­cess to re­sources for build­ing skills—and cre­den­tials—out­side of the time-place-bound of a tra­di­tional class­room set­ting.

The City Tech STEM-H TC2 Hub’s mission is to provide training and recognition of professional development achievements relevant to in-demand skills from STEM and Health fields, by offering and promoting Certifications and Digital Badges. TC2 stands for Technical Certifications and Training Center. The STEM TC2 HUB provides flexible access to resources for building skills—and credentials—outside of the time-place-bound of a traditional classroom setting.

A col­lab­o­ra­tion space for stu­dent in­terns help­ing de­velop the In­ter­dis­ci­pli­nary In­for­ma­tion De­sign ID2 Course. The site houses In­tern­ship Info and Jour­nal.

Fac­ulty Com­mons, A Cen­ter for Teach­ing, Learn­ing, Schol­ar­ship and Ser­vice co­or­di­nates all pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment, grants and as­sess­ment ac­tiv­i­ties of fac­ulty at New York City Col­lege of Tech­nol­ogy. Fac­ulty Com­mons adopts a pro­gram­matic ap­proach to pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment and op­er­ates as a fac­ulty re­source and think tank where mem­bers col­lab­o­rate on a va­ri­ety of pro­jects to shape cur­ricu­lum, ped­a­gogy and as­sess­ment. In ac­cor­dance with the Col­lege goals and strate­gic plan and with sup­port from CUNY, the Of­fice of the Provost, the Col­lege Coun­cil and the Pro­fes­sional De­vel­op­ment Ad­vi­sory Coun­cil, Fac­ulty Com­mons will strive to im­prove and pro­mote the qual­ity and ex­cel­lence of fac­ulty at New York City Col­lege of Tech­nol­ogy.

Faculty Commons, A Center for Teaching, Learning, Scholarship and Service coordinates all professional development, grants and assessment activities of faculty at New York City College of Technology. Faculty Commons adopts a programmatic approach to professional development and operates as a faculty resource and think tank where members collaborate on a variety of projects to shape curriculum, pedagogy and assessment. In accordance with the College goals and strategic plan and with support from CUNY, the Office of the Provost, the College Council and the Professional Development Advisory Council, Faculty Commons will strive to improve and promote the quality and excellence of faculty at New York City College of Technology.
