I was born in China and have lived here for almost 6 years. I found that I am interested in culinary class so I chose hospitality management and now study it.

COMD1127 D035 Type and Media FALL 2023
Foundation course in typography with emphasis on using type for a multiple of industry related applications ranging from print to interactive. Students are introduced to principles of type design and terminology including: variations of type structure, anatomy, font usage, grid, leading, kerning, tracking and alignment.
Students are guided through an overview of the history, likely directions and organizational structure of the hospitality industry and its role in local, national and global economies. Students are introduced to the nature and scope of the hospitality industry, basic terminology, management concepts, career path explorations and the departmentās mission and culture.
This model course is designed for use by faculty teaching MAT 1375 on the OpenLab – it includes a number of resources and sample assignments to help you get started.
