Bio

Hello, My name Quenton Blake and I’m am an inspired student who is on his way to understanding the world of Video Game Design. My goals is to fully understand the process on making a game and trying to create a unique environment for many others. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and I am a full-time student at New York City College of Technology majoring in Emerging Media on the track for Game Development.

My Main focus within my time in College and the field is to create a world for people to enjoy and experience. I like movies, music, and Video Games.

This second term composition course looks at how writers put texts into conversation with other texts., and how we can write in multiple rhetorical situations.

MTEC 1101 Emerging Media Foundation, SP18

This course is an introduction to emerging, interactive multi-media technology with a focus on interdisciplinary, project-based, cooperative learning. Students will be immersed in the protocols and processes of emerging and interactive media design, including: idea development, research, documentation, presentation, prototyping, and production, which will serve them in the face of rapid changes in technology. Students will explore basic theoretical and applied concepts of audio, visual, haptic, immersive, sensory and interaction design through creative group projects, visiting professionals, field trips and online documentation of their work.

Experiential Art & Design Club (EXP)

Experiential Art & Design Club (EXP)

A space to create & playtest digital experiences. Come make video games, interactive art, VR/AR worlds, and literally anything else you can think of in room V-314 (Voorhees Hall). We meet every Thursday @ 1-2pm. Have a project idea, but don’t know where to start? Team up with other students & make it happen. New to indie dev? Watch tutorials on Unity/C#, ask us for help and learn as you go. Need materials? We’ve got sensors, game controllers, and Arduinos for you to borrow. Even if you can’t make it to club meetings, catch us @ hackathons & art installations all over NYC. Check out our OpenLab for events, free assets, source code, scholarships, jobs, and more :)

Citytech E-Sports Club

Citytech E-Sports Club

The Citytech E-Sports club is a community that bring students together who have an interest in competitive gaming and gaming in general. The club aims to build a community where students can socialize, compete and express their passion for gaming and the competitive side to it. Members will be in a friendly environment where games are brought to a competitive level, being able to learn from each other, sharing strategies and developing new knowledge. The club also seeks to be able to compete at collegiate competitions at a national level. Other plans include hosting local prized gaming tournaments in the school itself.
