Bio

I teach Composition in the English Department. The students challenge me to come up with new student-centered strategies, a challenge I very much like. Author of six books and many articles on the above academic interests, I am on the editorial board of _Working USA: A Journal of Labor and Society_. A forthcoming essay will appear in The Cambridge History of _American Working-Class Literature_.
