My Projects
BUF 3300 International Retailing Denmark
For our project in Denmark, we will explore how the country’s culture, geography, climate, population, and strong focus on sustainability have shaped its economy and retail environment. From the innovative business scene in Copenhagen to Denmark’s efficient transportation network and renewable energy initiatives, the country’s geography and values influence the way businesses operate and grow. We will also examine how factors of production such as land, technology, population, and labor practices contribute to Denmark’s high standard of living and competitive economy. We’re also looking at how Denmark connects with the global market through international trade, its membership in the European Union, and its reputation for innovation and sustainable business practices. A key part of our project is understanding how Denmark balances economic growth with social welfare, creating an environment that supports both businesses and workers. Overall, we aim to highlight the strengths and challenges of Denmark’s economy and retail industry, with a particular focus on sustainability, innovation, labor practices, and how the country continues to adapt to changes in the global marketplace.
