PSY3405 Health Psychology, Spring 2015
This course provides an overview of existing psychological and epidemiological findings on the relationship between behavior and disease. The course explores how behavior, emotion and cognition can influence disease processes and examines the impact of stress and personal control on specific coronary, immune and infectious disease symptoms. Social support, referral and interventions for optimal physical and mental health are introduced. The interdisciplinary theme of this course will provide an overview of extant literature on theories of health psychology and behavior change within the context of critical race theory for a gained understanding of varied philosophies of science.
ENG3401 Law Through Literature, Spring 2016
This is a literature course in which we examine themes associated with law, ethics, and investigation.
My Projects
We are here to help the animals, those who cannot fend for themselves. We are an outlet for compassionate support from the public. With the numbers of stray and abused animals rising, we advocate for those who cannot be heard. Catering to our neighborhood as well as yours, Spread the Love welcomes anyone who has a huge heart and will treat our animals with the care they deserve. We also welcome animals from those who cannot give these companions the attention and affection that they are worthy of. Our New York City based nonprofit organization rescues animals and relocates these loving friends into safe homes. We appreciate any support to our mission as well as donations which can be made via our website at spreadthelove.org. We hope that through our work, we can spread a little love into the world.
