Free math tu­tor­ing for City Tech stu­dents, thanks to the Perkins Grant Funds. This tu­tor­ing ser­vice is de­signed to sup­port stu­dents in their math­e­mat­i­cal stud­ies and is ac­ces­si­ble on­line through Zoom. Our ded­i­cated team of math spe­cial­ists is here to as­sist you every step of the way. Key Fea­tures of the Math Tu­tor­ing Pro­gram: On­line Tu­tor­ing via Zoom: Stu­dents can ac­cess tu­tor­ing ses­sions from the com­fort of their own homes or any lo­ca­tion with an in­ter­net con­nec­tion. Math Spe­cial­ist Sup­port: Our ex­pe­ri­enced math spe­cial­ists are avail­able to pro­vide one-on-one sup­port tai­lored to your needs, help­ing you grasp chal­leng­ing con­cepts and excel in your course­work. Sched­ul­ing and Avail­abil­ity: To make the most of your tu­tor­ing ex­pe­ri­ence, stu­dents can share their ques­tions and in­quire about the avail­abil­ity of math spe­cial­ists. ENT 3290 Dig­i­tal Video Cam­era Spring 2025

This is an in­ter­me­di­ate level course in the ef­fec­tive use of cam­era and light­ing in video pro­duc­tion ex­pand­ing on the con­cepts learned in ENT 2290. Top­ics cov­ered in­clude lens se­lec­tion, light­ing tech­niques, image ma­nip­u­la­tion, cam­er­a­work, and com­po­si­tion. Mov­ing im­ages from the past and pre­sent will be ex­am­ined and an­a­lyzed. Con­cepts will be re­in­forced through pro­duc­tion work in the stu­dio and in the field.

COMD1100 Graphic Prin­ci­ples 1 Fall 2023

This basic de­sign and color the­ory course ex­plores graphic com­mu­ni­ca­tion through prac­tice, art his­tory and by ex­po­sure to the el­e­ments and prin­ci­ples of de­sign, as well as the de­sign process, in­clud­ing idea de­vel­op­ment through final ex­e­cu­tion. Stu­dents de­velop skills in two-di­men­sional de­sign, color mix­ing, and con­tent cre­ation while em­ploy­ing the de­sign process of re­search, sketch­ing, and ex­per­i­men­ta­tion. Com­mu­ni­ca­tion de­sign­ers use the con­cepts ex­plored in this course in dis­ci­plines such as ad­ver­tis­ing, graphic de­sign, web de­sign, il­lus­tra­tion, broad­cast de­sign, pho­tog­ra­phy, and game de­sign.
