Bio

Corey White is a DJ/Producer/Remixer from the New York City area, and is the creator #VelocitySoul style of mixing. He loves all music, but primarily spins Acid & Tribal House Music, & Techno. His inspiration comes such artists as Dennis May, Louie Vega, Ralf Gum, Black Coffee, and Carl Cox, to name a few.
He spins simply for the love of the Dance Music, to take his listeners on a climatic musical journey, and to spread love through the gift of music.
As the listener follows his thematic sets, they are carefully and skillfully taken on musical journey that speaks to their souls. He aims to heal through the music, to speak peace and love. Tunes are selected because of their effect on the overall session.

ENT 4900/4901 Internship F2017

For ENT Majors: work experience at a professional scenery fabrication shop, rental/supply house, off- Broadway theater, or any related industry organization approved by the adviser. For Emerging Media Tech Majors, work experience at a design firm, media electronics firm, media software firm, robotics firm, entertainment or media production firm, or any related industry organization approved by the adviser. This will serve to bridge the student’s academic and commercial careers by giving the him/her professional work experience and industry contacts before the end of the senior year. Each student will keep a log/journal to be shared in group seminars. Supervision will be by faculty and a manager at the internship site. Prerequisite: ENT 4410 or ENT 4450 or ENT 4470 or ENT 4480 or Pre- or corequisite: MTEC 3800

Video Studio Operations: Fall 2017

This course in an introduction and overview of the basic techniques and components used in commercial video production. Students will work in teams and individually to explore principles of production. Introduction to equipment, process, and terminology will be reinforced by readings, lectures, and hands-on exposure. Pre-production process, shooting schedules, camera, lighting, and audio operation, and post-production techniques will be explored. Differences between studio and location shooting will be covered. This course is intended as the first of a series of courses designed to provide greater competency in both technical and artistic aspects of this important industry.
