Bio

I am a Senior pursuing my Bachelors’ in Communication Design with a focus in Illustration and have about a year of experience in the field. For the past 4 years I have developed strong skills in graphic design to create posters, packaging, and social media content. During this time I have learned that the target and objective is the most important part of any research behind a project in order to effectively reach that audience. I have applied this process when designing for Posters and booklets for events and lectures at my school.

I rely heavily on the main concepts for whatever project I work on to help inspire my design choices. Beautiful design is everywhere but defeats the purpose if it can’t speak to the people it’s targeted to. I enjoy creating art with watercolor painting as my main medium, but also digital paint using various programs. I love to read fantasy books and play video games that tell immersive stories, and am inspired by the beauty and mystery of outer space which I try to include in my work.

City Tech CREAR Futuros

A postsecondary degree is increasingly necessary in the global economy, but only 15% of NYC Latino students are graduating from high school “college ready”. In order to improve these rates, Hispanic Federation (HF) and the City University of New York (CUNY) are launching CREAR Futuros to bring increased attention and resources to improving educational achievement and economic opportunity for Latinos. https://linktr.ee/citytechcrearfuturos
